Shape Rush is a rhythm-based arcade platformer that travels smoothly. Not your character's speed; you pick when to jump, fly, flip, or change movement.
Your shape starts moving forward as soon as you run, and the track ahead quickly becomes clogged with obstacles. Spikes, walls, confined spaces, hazardous ceilings, and abrupt changes in motion are all present. One poorly timed move can put you back to the starting position because you don't receive a checkpoint after making progress.
However, after a few tries, restarting becomes enjoyable. You start to recall the locations of the challenging parts, identify a level's rhythm, and respond a little quicker each time.
The six courses that are offered are more than just extended versions of the same subject.
Every level is unique in terms of difficulty, music, obstacle patterns, and layout. Later phases are considerably more forceful, but the initial course offers a milder introduction.
Shape Rush might initially appear to be just about hopping over spikes.
It's a fleeting impression
Throughout a level, portals can transform the character into other shapes, such as a Ball or Ship. The timing you've just grown accustomed to may suddenly need to change because each metamorphosis introduces a distinct kind of movement.
The later parts seem more difficult because of this.
You're not only learning the locations of the obstacles by heart. Additionally, you are learning the behavior of your current shape.
